Rain Day

Rain!  Glorious Rain!  All day long!  It was more than a five minute rainfall, it lasted almost all day and I was in Heaven!!  Everything flooded, including the wash behind our house.  Now I know why they have drowning risk signs back there!  Check out this video.  You can see the water rushing like a raging river through the wash as well as a waterfall flowing down into the wash from the street above. It was insane!

Scarlett's 1st Birthday!

Thanks to everyone who shared Scarlett's special day with us and those who were there in spirit!  We love you all very much and are so lucky to have you in our lives!  Happy 1st Birthday Scarlett Aleta!  We love you TONS!

We Have A 12 Month Old!

On the eve of our baby girl's birthday, we celebrate by looking back on the last 365 (actually 366 because it is a leap year) days of her life.  What an honor it has been to be her parents!  We love her so much!

Illinois Trip Day 3

We had a cookout at Mom's house today for everyone to come over and meet and hang out with Scarlett.  There were tons of family and friends there and it was a day filled with love and smiles.  There were so many people, I didn't even get pictures of everyone!  We were so happy to see everyone and glad you could all come.  Thank you!
