Macho Monday!

Dancing With The Stars is back and I KNOW you all missed my blogs and predictions each week, so I brought it back! Tonight was "Macho Monday" which means all the guy contestants danced with their partners. But first it kicked off with a great number by all my favorite guy professionals! Which made my night! Too bad I can't find the video ANYWHERE to post on here! Anyway, here are my thoughts and votes for the first night:

Aaron Carter - Ok, I don't like this kid's cocky attitude. He's like some flirtatious kid who is trying too hard to be macho and ends up coming off more flamboyant, at least in the Cha Cha Cha, than anything else. He seemed to have good feet and he moved his hips enough, and despite a few stumbles that even I caught, I agree with Len, he has potential....I didn't vote for him though so hopefully others liked him enough to bring him back next week so we can find out!

Chuck Liddell - He's a fighter, but I think I was thinking of him as more of a boxer, light on his feet non-stop, and that was not so much the case. He was very heavy on his feet, had stiff arms, tripped on a slide, and was overall awkward to me. He has the confidence for this competition for sure, as long as he can loosen up a little bit and be a little lighter on his feet...but overall I think he has potential as well. He reminded me of a rhino trying to dance with a crowned crane, much better than I had originally anticipate he might be, but nneds improvement. I will say his Foxtrot was in the least, entertaining, but I didn't vote for him.

Mark Dacascos - The Iron Chef and martial arts competitor has some moves - but absolutely NO hip action - or at least not the kind of hips you need for the Cha Cha Cha. He has the best potential I've seen so far thanks to his agility and flexibility...thanks to his kung fu experiences I'm sure. I voted for him because of this as well as the fun dance that he and Lacey did to "Everybody Was Kung Fu Fighting." Ha ha!

Ashley Hamilton - Well, for a guy who had brain surgery and thought he'd never walk again, he did amazing! He knew the dance but it was stiff and rough. He just needs to show some emotion and loosen up his arms and legs a lot, but I didn't vote for him.

Donny Osmond - Well, he's only been dancing and performing since he was FIVE, so of course he did great at the Foxtrot. He's a natural entertainer and I enjoyed watching him. He didn't seem to miss a beat as far as his dancing is concerned. He's better than his sister was when she was on this show too. I can't wait to watch him dance some more. Maybe this show will make me like him enough to go see his show in Las Vegas some day! :) But until then, he got my vote!

Louie Vito - His Foxtrot has some awkward holds (which could just be because he seems to have an awkward shape...even his costumes don't seem to fit him right), and I could definitely tell he was nervous, but he did pretty darn good for a snowboarder who's never danced and NEVER even seen an episode of Dancing With The Stars! I won't hold that against him this week because he did a decent job and he's a cute kid who is unexpectedly charming and definitely got my vote! Oh, I also loved watching him during his relay dance, so he got a second vote from me! :)

Michael Irvin - Well, here's our token NFL Football player Cha Cha Cha-ing just as good as the rest of his kind on past seasons of this show. He needs more hips for the Latin dances, but he has great potential. He's going to have to do more than that to stand out from some of my favorites though, such as Jason Taylor and Warren Sapp! I voted for him anyway though because he didn't do bad!

Tom Delay - I'm speechless! I agree with Bruno...he's definitely crazier than Sarah Palin! He Cha Cha Cha-ed to Wild Thing! He's also pretty light on his feet for a politician and did pretty good for a semi-old guy...and he left me wanting to see him dance more, so he got my vote! Too funny!
